Our RPP program provides a comprehensive introduction to aviation, covering everything from basic flight maneuvers to navigation techniques. Whether you're pursuing a lifelong passion for flying or seeking new challenges, the RPP program offers an exciting pathway into the world of aviation.

Program Requirements and Eligibility:

Fly as a pilot in command of a Single Engine Airplane designed to carry a maximum of four passenger seats, but no more than one passenger can be carried onboard, under day VFR conditions in Canadian airspace.

Prerequisites

  • Minimum 16 years of age (14 for First Solo).
  • Valid Category 1, 3, or 4 Medical Certificate.

Training Requirements

  • Completed a minimum of 25 hours flight time, including:
    • 15 hours dual instruction flight time, which includes a minimum of two hours cross-country flight time.
    • Five hours solo flight time.
  • Successfully complete a flight test to the standards outlined in the Flight Test Standard – Recreational Pilot Permit – Airplane (TP12475E).
  • While ground school instruction is not a requirement for this permit, it is highly recommended to ensure all our students pass the written examination.
